Dear Explorer '001

A most prominent cosmic conceptual development during these millenial / new age transition years 1999-2000-2001 is the emergence of the 'galaxy and its center' as new focus for both the astro sciences (astronautics, astrophysics, astronomy, astrobiology, etc) and for pioneering popular / global education and culture.

Now well into the new decade/century/millenium/age and looking forward to the next popularly ordained years of human destiny 2010-2011-2012, we can explore and use the enormous but knowable Milky Way galaxy / center to focus New / Aquarian Age energies through mid-decade. GALAXY/CENTER 2005 SCIENCE CONFERENCE ANNOUCEMENT

A "Galaxy/Center 2005 Science Conference-Workshop" would be tasked both with examining our Galaxy in its entirety -- 200 billion+ stars/star systems, 270 million year period of revolution, 100 thousand lightyears across, 30 thousand at thickest, etc -- and with focusing on the galactic Center.

Study and understanding of our Milky Way Galaxy will be as necessary and commonplace in this dawning new millenium/age as has been teaching and knowledge of our Solar System in the passing millenium/age. Determining the Galaxy Center's exact location, and its nature, are this decade's priority considerations for zero point equinox precession researchers (see George Flory, "Mystery of the Ages Solved"), and for astrophysics, high-energy astronomy and cosmology.

Your ideas and comments regarding a Galaxy/Center 2005 Science Conference will be much appreciated. Our own galaxy, while indeed just an average galaxy amidst countless galaxies in a multi-dimensional universe, provides a finite yet immense domain for the human species to learn and grow -- a new middle arena, between the singularity of our star the Sun and the seeming unknowable infinity of the cosmos. This new decade's latter half, toward 2010, offers occasion for a much broader, cosmic scope should such a science conference be desired.

AQUARIUS AGE 2001 SPRING EQUINOX CONFERENCE-WORKSHOP PROCEEDINGS TO BE PLACED ON MOON, BEYOND

Spring Equinox Weekend 16-20 March 2001 in the Northern California San Francisco Bay Area was, like Spring 2000, pioneering, invigorating, inspiring. Highlights included 2001 Space Odyssey Expo specially guided tour by Dennis Gonzales at the Tech Museum in San Jose, and KMVT-15, Mountain View, Aquarian Age TV video production with Lance Carter on Saturday; the Aquarian Age Conference-Workshop at the Redwood City Women's Club on Sunday 18 March; visits to NASA Ames Research Center and to nearby Castro Street New Age shops on Monday; and cheerful though drowsy observance and welcome of Spring's arrival 05:31 Pacific Time at Saint Francis National Shrine in San Francisco.

The Aquarian Age 2001 Conference-Workshop on Sunday, 18 March 2001, 2-9pm, at the Redwood City Women's Club, California, U.S.A., hosted about 15 presentations of great variety and comprehensiveness and about 40 pioneering, energetic and committed attendees overall. Some traveled great distances. Another half-dozen individuals with resourceful Aquarian Age presentations were unable to attend the historic, watershed event.

The Proceedings of the Aquarian Age 2001 Conference-Workshop -- a portrait immemorial of Aquarius Age brilliance and understanding, science and scholarship and dedication at the turn of the new millenium and Age, and as announced and promised to the Conference participants in March -- now, as of this date, enters active production.

Specifically, individual contributions to the Proceedings will be very much valued and are requested from Ron Lampi, George Flory, Lance Carter, Steve Durst, Hans Starlife, Alexa H Russell, Eric A Meece, Tony McGettigan, Maxi Harper, Mazatzan, Alan Moore, Nassim Haramein, Fred Becker. Contributions from those unable to attend the Aquarian Age Conference also are requested from Naomi Bennett, John McConnell, Sepp Rothwangl, Alan 'Grey Wolf' Williams. People assisting at the Conference without formal presentations -- Cheryl MaGill, Mary Alice Caudillo, Jennifer Valcov, Mazatzan's family, Charles Grotsky of SHIFT-- also are cordially invited to contribute to the Proceedings. Contributors to Aquarian Age thought, activity and cosmology with new 2001 Internet sites such as Patricia Cota-Robles, Jagbar Singh, DaVid of Light Party, and about a dozen other individuals also will be encouraged and assisted in contributing to the Aquarian Age Spring Equinox 2001 Conference-Workshop Proceedings.

Your Presentation / Contribution semi-final write-up, hopefully is progressing towards completion ASAP -- within the next 2-3 weeks. We ask contributions be a maximum of 10 pages, graphics included, sent in MS Word if possible; 1-1/2 inch margins left and right, 1 inch top and bottom; graphics of high-contrast are best for our black & white production. Publication is set, tentatively, for November 2001.

We plan to produce about 200 sets of Proceedings, with about 100 to be immediately distributed to Aquarian Age Conference presenters, participants, and other appropriate individuals and organizations.

The most important copy of the remaining 100 sets of Proceedings will be, quite likely, the copy intended for placement on the Moon, in an appropriate manner and site, before this decade is out. Additional copies may be placed on Mars, Jupiter's Europa, aboard a 2,160-year orbiting spacecraft returning to Earth at the beginning of the next New Age, and beyond. Terrestrially, there are numerous excellent locations all around Earth, including the summit of Mauna Kea, Hawai`i; of Mt. Hamilton, California, (south of San Francisco Bay); of Mt. Sunflower, Kansas (the Ad Astra State / "To The Stars", mid-way USA), among many others.

Placement of the Aquarian Age 2001 Conference Proceedings on our high-visibility Internet site www.aquarian-age.net is planned for early 2002, or before. This website hosts many important documents and writings, such as "Aquarian Age Starmaps 2000"; Declarations of the Aquarian Age Network, and of the Aquarian Age Arrival; "The Story of the Aquarian Age" by Lance C. Carter; the aforementioned "Mystery of the Ages Solved" by George Flory; the 3-part "Will the Age of Aquarius Begin in the Year 2000" by Steve Durst; Dialog New Age poems, including "We, The Aquarians" and "The Transformer", by Ron Lampi; and a great deal more.

This aquarian-age.net website, started in June 1998 by Jennifer Valcov, Lance Carter and Steve Durst, provides a useful service and vital information, as evidenced by its prominence on Internet search engines. A search for "Aquarian Age" on Google on August 27 produced 8,840 matches, with "Aquarian Age Star maps 2000" listed 1st. The AltaVista search engine returned 4,074 results, also with our site 1st; and a September 8 search of Aquarian Age (without the restricting quote marks) had 6,957,612 results, with "Aquarian Age Star maps 2000" 1st again. It is hoped soon there will be more accompanying Aquarian Age websites that present physical science, along with social science, information and analysis.

A top priority for www.aquarian-age.net in 2002 is new energy and commitment to a proactive and pioneering Aquarian Age Events Calendar. Just what is an "Aquarian Age Event"?

AQUARIAN AGE 2001 UPDATE -- 20 SEPTEMBER

'001 or 001 denotes we begin a new millenium, indeed a new age, not merely a new century '01. The Epochal creations and directions which we now can envision and commit to our futures are as grand and astonishing constructions as the WTC was great catastrophe -- times 1,000,000. "Ad Astra Per Aspera" -- To The Stars Through Difficulties.

We enter the Age of Stars, and of Starlife -- nothing less -- in this new 2,000+ year period. "If God had wanted humankind to be a spacefaring species, God wanted have given humankind a Moon". Our existence as a multi-world species begins in our own frontyard, on Luna: In this decade if we choose, in peace for all humankind. The cities of the universe lie beyond.

This Aquarian Age 2001 Update is dedicated to human freedom and human equality, respectfully, to all victims of violence, and injustice, everywhere.

Best Wishes / Ad Astra, Steve Durst For the Aquarian Age
